The Coronavirus outbreak has put a stress on teachers and schools to close in order to keep communities safe. For special education teachers, providing at home learning materials can be very difficult. I want to help! I am offering the following for the month of March to ease the pressure and workload placed on teachers and to support students at home during this time period:
+ FREE hand washing life skills center (visuals and task analysis)
+ FREE visual recipe for Shamrock Mix
+ FREE Picture Comprehension: Spring
+ FREE Cut and Paste Worksheets: March
+ $5 Simple Comprehension: March
How can you tell parents about these resources?
These resources are print and go. You are welcome to email parents this resource for at home printing ( this is usually not allowed in my terms of use and I am giving a written exception for this case in case it is necessary.)
If you have planning time, print the resources for parents to complete at home and provide an email explaining how to support students while doing so.
What resource will give me week long learning?
Picture comprehension Spring will provide comprehension sheets for daily use of up to one months time.
Simple Comprehension (March is available for $5 at this time) will give you 4 weeks work of lessons, stories, vocabulary, comprehension, and more. You can print the level appropriate for the student and send home with them.
What if I need more to fill the time out of school?
I recommend only sending print and go materials or loaning your prepped materials to parents. As always, over 70 free downloads in the Simply Free Library Many of these are task boxes that can become simple cut and paste worksheets if sending home.
