10 Paraprofessional Gifts for Every Budget

As special educators, we could not do our job without our paraprofessionals! As we get into our daily routine, life tends to get bust and hectic. It can be easy to forget to stop and take the time to thank our paraprofessional and acknowledge all their hard work. Here are 10 paraprofessional gift ideas that we use to show them how we much appreciate them.

Less expensive paraprofessional gifts

  1. Thank you note / card. Our days tend to fly by as special educators and we find ourselves running out of time the small little things like show our staff we appreciate them.   2. Donuts / treats. Nothing beats bringing donuts, cookies or some treat for your staff on a Friday morning after a long and exhausting week!

  4. Coffee/ tea. We all know our days get long and tiring. A small gesture like treating your staff to a caffeine pick me up, can go a long way.

  1. School supplies. School supplies tend to get lost, old, and run down quick. New school supplies that are specific for each para is a great gift that they always appreciate.
  2. Self care supplies. Head down to target, the dollar tree, home goods, etc, to find great deals on lotions, socks, face masks, lip glass and other great self care items!
  3. Personalized lanyards. As special educators, we tend to wear our landyards everywhere that has our school ID, and PECS super symbols on them. A great gift idea could be to buy your staff new personalized lanyards to wear on a daily basis.
  4. Personalized mugs/tumblers/cups. who doesn’t love a new mug, cup or tumbler to add to their collection?!
  5. Team t-shirts. A great gift idea is to get your staff matching teacher shirts to wear around school. This is great to show the school that you are a team and to show your staff that you are proud to work with them.
