Gifts Ideas for Paraprofessionals

Holiday gift giving for paraprofessionals can be tricky, so let’s chat about Gift Ideas for Paraprofessionals. Our paraprofessionals work so hard all year, so the holiday season is a great time to give them a gift to show them how much you appreciate them. Some of us have 1 paraprofessional and some of us have 10+ people to show your thanks to- so I have included holiday gift ideas for every budget!

Team t-shirts. A great gift idea is to get your staff matching teacher shirts to wear around school. This is great to show the school that you are a team and to show your staff that you are proud to work with them.

Personalized lanyards. As special educators, we tend to wear our lanyards (affiliate link) everywhere that has our school ID, and PECS super symbols on them. A great gift idea could be to buy your staff new personalized lanyards to wear on a daily basis.

Link for sanitizers here! (affiliate)

Hand sanitizer. Our jobs can get really dirty and messy. Having a nice smelling, portable hand sanitizer on hand is a great gift. Click this link to find a bundle of portable hand sanitizers on amazon.

Grab it here! https://amzn.to/3GremE4

Thank you note / card. Our days tend to fly by as special educators and we find ourselves running out of time the small little things like show our staff we appreciate them. Writing a great note or thank you card and highlighting something specific you saw is a great inexpensive gift.

I love this cute box of self-care teas! (affiliate link)

Coffee/ tea. We all know our days get long and tiring. A small gesture like treating your staff to a caffeine pick me up, can go a long way.

Stanley-ish cup! (affiliate link)

Personalized mugs/tumblers/cups. who doesn’t love a new mug, cup or tumbler to add to their collection?!

Paraprofessional gifts don’t have to expensive and time consuming. They can be simple, meaningful and budget friendly! Next time you need a gift for your paraprofessional, refer back to this list!
