Winter Resources for your Special Education Classroom

It’s that time of month! Teachers are scrounging pinterest and blogs for some fun ideas for the next season! Winter is here and brings along some fun themes…. you can still stick to your goals and academics while making things a little more festive with these resources. Read on to find some fun winter resources for your classroom!

Winter Basic Skills NO PREP Worksheets: Raise your hand if you LOVE no prep! YUP, everyone! These print and go worksheets target all the basic skills like patterns, ten frames, tracing, 1:1 correspondence, and matching.

I love printing these on colored paper to keep them festive, or having students color in the pictures! These are simple to pull out for early finishers, morning work, or fun themed center work!

Polar Bear and Penguin Sort: This is a FREE resource included in the Simply Free Library, click here to get the password! You will also get access to over 60 free resources just by signing up.

Winter Read Alouds: Winter is such a fun time of year, here are some of my favorite read alouds that target winter vocabulary and themes that you will be using in your other curriculum!
