4 Activities for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is an important time of year to celebrate special women or people in your students life. The most common way to celebrate Mother’s Day is by having your students create a gift to bring home for Mom, Grandma, or another special person in their life.

Here are 4 activities for Mother’s Day in your special education self-contained classroom:

Fork Tulip Craft:

Have your students use the visual directions to create a unique card!

Mother’s Day Seed Bombs:

This is a great activity for recycling and a gift for mom figures!

Mother’s Day Visuals:

Prep your students for things that happen on Mother’s Day with Mother’s Day social stories and visuals.

This recipe is included in May Visual Recipes

Fruit Salad:

Celebrate Mothers and mom figures with a fruit salad and tea party!

All of these activities are great to use for Mother’s Day, May, or all spring long!
