All About Me Sheets for Special Needs Parents and Caregivers

All About me Template for special needs parents

Having a special needs child and sending them off to new and unfamiliar caregivers can be very difficult to do. Each child is unique and has unique interests, making an All About Me sheet for caregivers is one way to make this transition easier for everyone.

What is an All About Me Sheet?

An All About Me Sheet is a way for special needs parents to share important information about their child with special ed teachers, therapists, caregivers, or daycare workers. It is a great way to put all important information in one place that can be shared with all staff to ensure your child is getting the most out of their time there.

What do I include on an All About Me Sheet?

I love to include the child’s likes and dislikes, what motivates them, information about their disability, allergies, or medications, what they struggle with and what they like for rewards. It takes the guesswork out of therapy sessions for the providers as well- believe me your provider would love to receive this when they start to work with your child!

Where can I find a template to get started?

We offer two templates on Etsy for special needs parents and caregivers. These templates are fully editable and customizable- you can change colors, photos, fonts, headers- everything! It gives you the perfect starting point and ideas to make it your own. Find the template here (pink) and here (blue).

I hope this helps all special needs families feel more comfortable when starting with a new teacher, therapist, or caregiver!
