Peachie Speechie has tons of free downloads that are Fall and Halloween specific. I love using the Roll & Race games with groups. The 100 trials sheets are perfect for any session and using these mini erasers (affiliate link) make trials even more fun!

I use ReadWorks for my older students. This free website has grade level reading passages with tons of fall themes and topics. I encourage my students highlight their target sound everywhere they see it in the passage, then they read it outloud while producing their target sound. My students love choosing their own scented highlighter (affiliate link) to use during this activity!

I also use fall themed books to find target sounds and have students label pictures that have their target sound(s) included. Room on the Broom is great for targeting /r/ in all positions! See below for more Room on the Broom activities.

FALL LANGUAGE ACTIVITIES

There are so many great language activities to use during the fall season. One activity I can always pull out at a moment’s notice is my Room on the Broom book companion. A story map is included and is great for guiding students through a story retell. The book companion also includes vocabulary visuals, comprehension questions, and sequencing activities. My favorite part about this resource is that I can adapt it easily to fit the needs of all learners. Grab the book here (affiliate link)!

Leveled comprehension task cards are another no-prep fall themed resource that I use often. These task cards include real pictures and three different support levels to fit a variety of student needs. The bundle includes themed a basic set and themed sets of wh- questions for each season. My favorite way to keep these cards organized is by using these organization containers (affiliate link).

I use these organizers for everything. They are perfect for keeping task cards together.

For learners with more support needs, I love this fall comprehension activity that includes pictures. This resource includes two and three answer arrays and can be used with a variety of students. I love that my students can use the visuals to help them identify answers to comprehension questions.
