Do you use task boxes in your classroom? We have a task box library in my SPED classroom, and we love to switch task boxes out each season. Let me show you 3 spring task boxes for you to try in your classroom! These are FREE and low prep activities!
Egg Match Task Box
This is an identical matching activity that would be perfect for spring. You can find this activity in the Simple Free Library. I like using this task box with my students that need more support. It is an activity they can be independent and successful in. To prep, laminate and cut out the pieces, then add velcro to the backs of each piece and the cards. I always use the method “hard of the card, soft is stationary.” I store them in a shoebox size bin in my task box library. You can find the bins I use HERE. *affiliate link*
Egg and Basket Sort Task Box
This is a spring sorting activity. It is sorting eggs and baskets. There are two sorting mats and all the pieces. This is a great skill to work on in your spring task boxes. To prep, laminate and cut out the sorting mats and all pieces, then add soft Velcro to the mats and hard Velcro to all the pieces. You can also store this activity in a shoe box size container. Shamrock Ten Frames Task Box
This shamrock ten frame activity is the perfect math task box to add to your spring task box library. It works on counting and identifying quantities. To prep, laminate and cut out the ten frame cards and the number cards, then add soft Velcro to the ten frame cards and hard Velcro to the number cards. These store perfect in a shoe box size bin or an envelope like this. *affiliate link*
