Prepping Materials for special education classrooms can be hard work! BUT- there are some AWESOME materials out there to make your life just a little bit easier. Read on to find out ALL of my favorites to make things go faster!

The rubicoil binder (affiliate link) is a lifesaver- THIS is how I bind my adapted books with the pretty coils- that students CAN’T easily pull out like with other binding machines. Though this is a bigger expense- not having to rebind your books (or relaminate) saves you money and time in the long run!
A 13 inch laminator (affiliate link) is a GAME CHANGER. If you are in a special education classroom (especially self contained) you WILL want to laminate a file folder at one point or another. Using school lamination that peels and takes forever to heat up isn’t always an option… but this 13 inch laminator can do it all!
If you haven’t heard of easy action scissors (affiliate link) you must give these a try. Not only do they save your hand muscles- they slide across velcro and lamination like a champ!
While we are on the topic of cutting… this swingline (affiliate link) is amazing for straight line cutting! The best part? It’s super light and easy to transport between home and school.
Some people don’t believe me when I give my ((unpopular)) opinion that SCOTCH IS NOT BEST. I LOVE amazon basics laminating sheets (affiliate link)- and will never buy another- and the price is even better!
