January in my Autism Classroom

January has just begun yet it feels like it is just flying by! January is a tough month for kids with not many holidays to celebrate and keep them engaged! But winter is finally here!

January Resources in my autism Classroom

Check out these winter resources I use to keep my kids engaged!

January Resources in the autism classroom

JANUARY VOCAB!

My kids just LOVE these units- and I love how EASY they are to pull out each month. Jam packed with resources to use all month long, you’re kids are sure to learn these vocab works by the end of the month!

January Adapted Books

JANUARY ADAPTED BOOKS!

If you are a regular on this blog you know just how much I LOVE adapted books! These are great for morning work, transition work, maintenance work, and I even know people who use them in task boxes or in their library! I also use them as motivators, because the kids enjoy them that much!

JANUARY CUT & PASTE FINE MOTOR UNIT!January Cut and Paste Fine Motor Sheets

These little puzzles are a DREAM! My kids are cutting and pasting better than ever with the highlighted cut lines and my OT is loving me!

January Life Skills Bundle

JANUARY LIFE SKILLS LESSON!

This months life skill lesson is sock matching and rolling! This is a basic skill our students NEED but is often forgotten! Remember how important it is for our kids to learn step by step! The task analysis and schedule cards included in this set make it easy to teach! My parents are loving their monthly updates too!

Winter Basic Skills No prep pack

WINTER BASIC SKILLS NO PREP PACK!

This NO prep is amazing for one reason… just PRINT and GO! No color ink, no laminating, this is perfect for when you have a sub, need quick homework, or just need some maintenance on those basic skills our kids NEED!

January Picture Comprehension

JANUARY PICTURE COMPREHENSION!

I use these comprehension sheets each month to track my students comprehension skills for IEP goals. The picture cues make this goal attainable for my low level students, non readers, and nonverbal students!
