How I Use the Sheets

The digital Simple Data Sheets PDF is shown on a computer screen.
Data sheets are available in both print and digital form!

One cool thing about the Simple Data Sheets is that they are available in both print and digital form so that you can choose what works best for you! I like to use both types in different ways. For example, it’s so convenient for me to print lunch sheets and put them on a clipboard to bring to the cafeteria. But I like to take my behavior data on Google Forms so that it is all in a convenient place for analysis. The bundle makes it so convenient to choose what you need!

An Example Sheet

A data sheet is shown on a blue clip board.
Goal data sheets help me keep track of how students are progressing.

The Goal Data Sheets are my go-to! I use them on a regular basis for progress monitoring of my students’ IEP goals. In my classroom, I have set up goal bins for each student. I keep a sheet for each subject area in the bin. This lets me easily take note of student progress! I make the sheets my own by adding notes and using progress indicators that work for me. For example, I add “NI” for “Not Introduced,” as needed. Customization is key to getting the data I need!

What sorts of sheets are most needed in your classroom? Do you prefer to take data on paper or digitally? Share your thoughts below!
