Let’s Make a Sandwich (& a FREEbie!)

Let's Make a Sandwich life skills activity

I have been DREAMING about this felt food set for a WHILE now! I love to incorporate life skills into my classroom, even thought my students are still young at grades 1-4. The life skills track is the track they are set on, and incorporating age appropriate life skills into their day, at their level, is something that makes me feel like a proud teacher.

When I first spotted this Melissa & Doug Felt Sandwich Set, it was love at first sight. BUT, I didn’t even buy it. It is one of those things I agonize and question whether or not I should buy even though it’s only 10 dollars…

SO, when I opened this present from my boyfriend Michael on Christmas morning, you can say I was thrilled, and I got to working on this project!

First I created a bunch of sandwich combinations from easy to complex! Then I took some pictures!

For your FREE sandwich order visual cards, I removed the black backgrounds to save your some money on ink 😉

You can use these visuals as part of your life skills centers, a task box, for students to write out orders, or even add prices for a higher level money activity.

Do you still offer the Melissa & Doug freebie? Or do you sell it in your store. I can not seem to locate it.
