How to Use Visual Keychains

Visual Keychains are the perfect solution to the busy teacher who is needs to have visuals on hand at all times! Here’s how to use visual keychains in your classroom!

One classroom I was working in had SO many moving parts. Kids doing partial inclusion, kids in my room all day, toilet training, therapies, walks around the building for reward… we were always on the go!

I knew that I needed to have visuals on me at all times. Why? Because a visual prompt is often more effective than a verbal one… especially for kids in overwhelming situations (think inclusion… assemblies… lunchroom). Enter the visual keychain…. I always had it on me and was never left without a visual!

This visual keychain contains 15 commonly used visuals for teachers, aides, and therapists, to use all day long. You can customize your key chain ring to suit your needs.

These visuals make it easy to prompt students on the go, in any environment!

If you are a teacher thinking about making a visual keychain for yourself, consider making one for everyone on your classes team. This will make the visuals universal and students will be more receptive to the prompting. A team the works together celebrates success together!

You can download the visual keychain here for just $3!
